Intellectual property
With the promulgation of Law 20-00 on Industrial Property, in the Dominican Republic we adopted avant-garde provisions in the protection of inventions, industrial designs, utility models, trademarks, trade names, logos, slogans, among others.
Likewise, in our country we have Law 65-00 on Copyright, which constitutes a complete and harmonized regulation at the international level in protection of the rights of authors and owners of their works and their literary or artistic form, as well as the creations of the spirit in general. This law also safeguards the rights of artists, phonogram producers and broadcasting organizations.
The protection of intellectual rights is also guaranteed by our Magna Carta and international treaties such as the Berne Convention, the Paris Convention, TRIPS, DR-CAFTA, etc.
Our firm is made up of trained professionals with long years of experience in the process of registering the indicated intellectual property rights before the corresponding authorities, as well as in defending them before the prosecution and civil and criminal courts.
